I live in Yorkshire with Pontefract as my local Course, but I also attend York on most Race-days. However, once a year a few of us go somewhere different and “Special” just for the day, or with an overnight stay.

In the past we gone to the Curragh for the Derby, Paris for the Arc, Newmarket for the Guineas, and Ascot for the King George 6th and Queen Elizabeth Stakes amongst others, but this year we can’t decide whether to go back somewhere or try somewhere new.

If you were in my position, where would you go and why? Money, whilst not tight, is not exactly in abundance either.
